House Rules and Information
- Check-in: 4:00 PM.
- Check-out: 10:00 AM
- Quiet times: Between 9pm – 8am as a courtesy to our neighbors who live here full time.
- No Smoking: This is a smoke-free home. If there is any evidence of smoking inside, you will be charged a fee to deodorize the house. If you need to smoke outside, please be conscious of properly disposing of your cigarette butts (especially during the dry season).
- Parking: Parking for home is in the driveway. We currently do not allow access to the detached garage
- Air Conditioning and Heating: Check that all windows and doors are closed prior to using the AC and Heater.
- The thermostat is located on the hallway wall to the right of the laundry closet.
- Winter: Please leave the setting to “Auxiliary” and only adjust the temperature up or down by pressing the screen.

- Living Room Fireplace: The switch to activate the fireplace is located just to the left of the fireplace. Please turn off when not in use or not at the property.
- Food: Please help yourself to any food, condiments or spices you may need in the fridge or cupboards.
- Kitchen Amenities: Dishwasher detergent, cleaning supplies and trash bags are located below the kitchen sink.
- Wash Machine and Dryer: Detergent and bounce sheets are in the laundry closet. Please leave the washing machine door slightly open to prevent mildew when not in use.
- BBQ: Located on the lower deck. Please turn the valve off to the propane tank OFF when not in use.
- Do not cover the BBQ until it has completely cooled down. Please keep covered when rain or snow is in the forecast.
- Garbage: Place garage bags in the black trash can located on the front of the home below the deck. If trash begins to overflow, please contact HAVEN Property management via text or through the booking app. We will send someone out to collect the trash.
- IMPORTANT: The home is on a septic system so please don’t flush feminine products, trash or disposable wipes into the toilet.
- Deck Wire Railing: Please do not step on the wire railing. Any damage requiring repair incurred will be at the sole expense to the guest.
AT DEPARTURE
Checkout is at 11:00 AM unless a later time is approved by management. We understand that checkout time comes quickly and if you need more time, please let us know and we can adjust out cleaning schedule.
Prior to departing, please:
- Dishes: Place all dirty dishes with detergent pod in the dishwasher and start the load. Please do not leave dishes covered with food in sink.
- Towels: Place dirty towels in the washing machine with detergent and start the load. Do not strip any bedding, the beds can be left as is.
- Any extra towels that don’t fit in the load can be placed in the laundry basket between the washing machine and dryer.
- Trash: Take trash from kitchen trash can to the outdoor trash can located at the front of the home below the deck. You don’t need to empty bathroom trash cans unless smelly items have been discarded in them.
- TV Apps: Don’t forget to sign out of all your TV apps.
- BBQ: Turn off BBQ and Firepit propane tanks, if used.
- Thermostat:
- (Winter) Set thermostat to 65 Degrees. Ensure the thermostat is set to “Auxiliary” Mode.
- Thermostat (Summer) Set thermostat to 70 Degrees. Ensure the thermostat is set to “Heating and Cooling” Mode
- Lights: Turn off lights and lock ALL the doors.
- Send a TEXT message to (208) 818-8448 informing us that you have departed from the Ponderosa Home :)
